How to DIY a Farmhouse Wood Sign

One of my favorite ways to decorate my home is with over-sized wood signs. I have them in almost every room and I love how they add a touch of farmhouse flair. But the price tag tends to be pretty high for the big designs and I decided to learn how to make my own.

Luckily, I found this tutorial from Leap of Faith Crafting that provided everything I needed to know to DIY my own wood sign. She even provided a free SVG file for the laundry room, but if your project is going in a different space, don't worry, I have several super cute SVG files available for download in my shop. Check them out!

With the following supplies in hand, you can create your own wood sign too. All you need is:

  • Wood or MDF cut to your desired dimensions
  • Paint
  • Oracal 631 paper or contact paper for the stencil
  • A Cricut or Silhouette
  • The SVG file you want to use

I would love to see your results if you end up doing this DIY. Jump over to the Honey Blossom Living Facebook page and share!

Thanks for stopping by and good luck with your DIY projects!
